PICAROON yep say it out loud PICAROON. Its it just the funniest word to say. Curiosity got the better of me and i had to look the word up:

Picaroon: A pirate, a pirate ship, to act like a pirate.

Ha i knew i there was a reason i liked it, its pirate oriented. Well if i had bothered to pay more attention to the description and read the whole thing rather than pick out key words like rum & lime well then i probably would have picked up on the earlier.

Ahoy me sea scurvy picaroons, here be a tale of a treacherous poison befitting the screaming banshee of the sea.

Haus of Gloi say:

Sun scorched mahogany bough crusted with a crystalline sea spray! Faint plundered spices, lemongrass, coconuts, expressed Mexican lime, and Haitian bay rum.

Madam M says:

Picarron is just amazing. I call it’s fragrance bright. Yeah bright, its not warm & enveloping its more a smack in the face of pungent delights.

The spiciness & citrus notes are really delightful. For some reason I cannot distinguish the lemongrass but I’m sure its in there. The coconut is faint so if your into coconutty fragrances you might be a wee bit disappointed. The spice, lime & rum are definitely in the forefront.

The consistency is creamy yet light & would do great as a summertime moisturiser also. It has, as all Haus of Gloi products have, great longevity of fragrance that you can smell for hours and hours after application.

I much prefer this as a day time body moisturiser as its bright & invigorating & just gets the blood pumping. Its one of those scents that just puts a spring in your step.

I regrettably only grab this in a sample size. I wish i had grabbed it in a full sized pot. Its definitely on my repurchase list & this time in a full pot of deliciousness.
